Perhaps tucked beneath the counter of a country inn, perched beside an artist’s easel, standing in a Victorian workshop or pulled up to a farmhouse kitchen table…but they have clearly spent a lifetime being appreciated.   Standing at practical 70cm high, they’re ideal beneath a kitchen island, breakfast bar or workbench, while the generously shaped saddle seats make them surprisingly comfortable.
