Traditional South Indian Filter Coffee Brewing Guide: You will need: South Indian metal coffee filter Fresh drinking water Hot milk Sugar (optional) Brewing Steps: Add 2–2.5 tablespoons (15–18 g) of Udupi Estate Filter Coffee powder into the upper chamber of the filter. Press lightly with the plunger—do not over-compress. Pour 90–100 ml of freshly boiled water evenly over the coffee powder. Cover with the lid and allow the decoction to drip slowly for 10–15 minutes. Collect the thick, aromatic decoction in the lower tumbler. To Serve: Add 1 part decoction to 2–3 parts hot milk (adjust to taste).
